Oracle NetSuite employees take the hill, we prefer action over inaction, we are tireless in our mission and we pause only to celebrate our success. And we DO celebrate, because if you don't have fun along the way, then what's the point?Job Summary:We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to work on the Functional consulting team within Oracle NetSuite Professional Services. This position requires heavy interaction with customers, NetSuite implementation teams, and NetSuite partners. This individual will be a part of the team that assists customers with implementing NetSuite.  The Senior Consultant position is responsible for the delivery of implementation services for Oracle NetSuite customers in a post-sales environment. Working with the rest of the Professional Services department, this position will quickly assess customer needs, develop innovative plans to solve their problems and implement these plans to the customer's satisfaction.  The Senior Consultant is expected to assist in any sales engagement that may arise with existing customers and in some instances, work directly with the Sales and Account Management team to close those opportunities. The successful Senior Consultant must have a passion for helping customers find creative ways to more effectively run their businesses. Finding new ways to constantly improve the satisfaction and loyalty of our customers is a top priority. Working with aggressive timelines and a full customer portfolio is required. Responsibilities include:Gather and document customer business requirementsWork with customers to configure NetSuite software to support customer business requirementsArchitect solutions for complex business requirements which may include complex configurations and/or complex technical componentsDefine detailed functional requirements for automations and integrations to NetSuiteWork with technical teams to design and test automations and integrationsPerform quality reviews of deliverables developed by other team membersCollaborate and communicate with Project Managers and colleagues to facilitate on time and on budget project deliveryAchieve or exceed billable utilization targetsContinue to increase product knowledge and pursue relevant certificationsSupport the sales cycle through solution review and feedback, and assistance with scoping and estimationPreferred Qualifications/Skills include:Experience with defining requirements for complex customizations and integrationsProject team leadership experienceAbility to influence customers to modify current business practices, as requiredAbility to manage scope and expectations with the customerStrong communication skillsStrong presentation skillsAbility to establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to work within project teams, and collaborate cross-departmentallyAbility to communicate effectively with functional and technical resourcesAbility to guide customer based on leading practicesAbility to manage multiple projectsExperience with software in a SaaS environment including any experience with Accounting, Sales Force Automation, Marketing Campaigns and Web presenceConsulting experience with QuickBooks Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics, , Upshot, ACT, Goldmine, MAS 90, Siebel, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, NetSuitePre-sales consulting experienceBachelor��s degree, preferably in Accounting or Management Information SystemsMaster's degree or post graduate coursework preferred6+ years of overall relevant professional experience, including ideally 2+ years of NetSuite ERP package solution implementations. NOTE - competing vendor solution experience may be consideredBroad industry vertical experience in either or both of the following sectors: manufacturing and wholesale distributionFinance/accounting background a plusFocused industry vertical solution experience a plusNetSuite product certification a plusIntermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed. Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices.
