Job Title: Regulatory Compliance SpecialistSphera is a leading provider of enterprise software and services that enables companies to manage and optimize their environmental, health, safety and sustainability.We are a global organization committed to creating a safer, more sustainable and productive world through our mission-driven approach.Our values of Customer Centricity, Accountability, Bias to Action, Innovation, and Collaboration help us recruit the right talent to join our rapidly expanding team worldwide.The primary function of this role will be to cost-effectively prepare regulatory-compliant Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documents for international customers who outsource this function to our Managed Regulatory Services.Key Responsibilities:Authoring regulatory compliant SDS/Labels for external customers across various countries.Searching reference sources and supplier SDS for required information and applying techniques to reconcile discrepancies.Evaluating toxicological, environmental, chemical, and physical properties for hazard determination of substances and chemical products.Performing quality control and regulatory compliance reviews of SDS/Labels prepared by team members.Assisting in establishing details of SDS/Labels content to be delivered contractually.Providing related services such as regulatory training, compliance reviews, writing procedures, and consultation services.Requirements:Experience and education in one or more areas including University degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environment, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene) or Chemical Engineering. Masters preferred.Knowledge of at least five of the following regulations: REACH, GHS, OSHA, WHMIS, IATA, IMDG, ADR, ADNR, TDG, DOT, ADG, EPA, CEPA, TSCA, FDA, PCPA, CCCR, CPSC.Work experience from 3 to 5 years, or more.Experience in sciences: Biology/Chemistry applications, Health/Safety/Environmental regulations and/or toxicology.Experience in product stewardship or regulatory affairs.Experiences as a user of EH&S related software.Consulting experience.Self-starting/motivated.Attentive to detail.Ability to work on multiple assignments.Strong regulatory analytical skills and troubleshooting skills.Reliable and take pride in work.Excellent team worker.Good verbal communication skills.Good written skills for reporting, writing procedures and providing regulatory information.Strong work ethic and professionalism.Committed to occasionally working extra hours to meet critical deliverable dates.We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all colleagues.
