About the Role:

This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of defence components for our clients. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and ensuring compliance with international EMI/EMC standards. You will also collaborate with internal teams and external clients throughout the project lifecycle.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Understand customer designs and schematics.
  • Detect potential EMC noise sources in customer designs.
  • Mitigate component-level EMI/EMC issues.
  • Document customer requirements or requests.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with distributed team members and various stakeholders.
  • Work flexibly and imaginatively in a changing and evolving project environment.
  • Mentor junior team members.

 

Required Skills

  • Conduct EMI/EMC testing and troubleshooting for defense sector products.
  • Ensure compliance with international EMC standards, including MIL and IEC.
  • Operate and maintain EMI/EMC test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and simulation tools.
  • Develop and implement test plans and procedures to validate product performance.
  • Document test results, prepare technical reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to address EMI/EMC issues and enhance product design.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in EMI/EMC testing and standards.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • Expertise in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and EMI.
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting and testing EMI/EMC issues.
  • Knowledge of international EMC standards (FCC, CISPR, IEC).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and technical writing skills.
  • Experience in the defense sector or semiconductor industry is a plus.
