Unacademy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Native German Tutor to join our German Content division. This role focuses on vetting, reviewing, and contributing to the development of high-quality educational content, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy, and helping learners in the US achieve fluency. The ideal candidate will have native proficiency in German, a passion for education, and the ability to collaborate closely with content creators and subject matter experts to refine and enhance learning materials.Key ResponsibilitiesVet and review German language content for linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and learner engagement.Collaborate with educators, content creators, and the Content Head to maintain high standards across the curriculum.Provide expert insights on nuanced language usage, idiomatic expressions, and regional variations to enhance content quality.Assist in content creation by offering authentic examples, explanations, and contextual corrections.Leverage learner feedback to identify gaps and suggest improvements for lesson clarity and engagement.Stay informed on current trends and best practices in language education to provide up-to-date guidance.QualificationsNative-level proficiency in German, with strong communication skills in English.Experience in reviewing and editing educational or language learning content is highly preferred.Familiarity with the US learner base or experience working with non-native learners is a plus.Strong collaboration and mentorship skills, with the ability to work closely with educators and content teams.A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering culturally authentic and accurate language content.Bachelor’s degree in German, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.Why Join Us?Play a key role in shaping the future of German language learning for a US-based audience.Work in a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative environment.Competitive compensation and flexible working conditions.Opportunity to influence the learning journey of thousands of students through your expertise.
