Job Title: Help Desk SpecialistLocation: Gurgaon, IndiaEmployment Type: Full-timeExperience Required: 2 years of experience in IT support.Immediate Joiners: Candidates who can join by mid-December are preferred.Interview Process: The interview process will consist of a virtual round followed by an in-person round in Gurgaon.Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Help Desk Specialist to join our IT support team in Gurgaon. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, assisting users, and ensuring smooth IT operations.Key Responsibilities:Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and basic applications (MS Office, browsers, email clients, etc.).Handle network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, basic router/switch configurations).Support users via phone, email, or in person, and log issues in the ticketing system.Assist with system upgrades, patch installations, and antivirus updates.Perform routine maintenance such as system health checks, backup checks, and device installations.Coordinate with senior engineers or vendors for unresolved issues.Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure adherence to IT policies.Required Skills & Qualifications:Diploma/Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or related field.Basic understanding of:Windows OS and MS Office,Hardware components and troubleshooting,Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).Strong communication and customer-service skills.Ability to learn quickly and follow processes.Preferred Qualifications:Certification such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft MCP.Experience with any ticketing tool (ServiceNow, Jira, Fresh service, etc.).Basic knowledge of Active Directory (user creation, password reset).Work Environment:The role is based in Gurgaon and may require rotational shifts depending on business needs.
