Backend Developer PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our ride mobility platform.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Express, and NestJS, as well as knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, SQL databases, and REST APIs.They will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, building APIs for drivers, users, rides, payments, tracking etc., implementing real-time communication using WebSockets or Socket.IO, managing database structure, integrating OTP/Auth, booking engine, safety features, and writing clean and optimized code.Our Backend Developer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and improving system performance, working directly with the founder and engineering partners to build scalable APIs, real-time systems, and backend architecture for the DriveA Ride App.Key Responsibilities:Designing, developing, and maintaining backend servicesBuilding APIs for drivers, users, rides, payments, tracking etc.Implementing real-time communication using WebSockets or Socket.IOManaging database structureIntegrating OTP/Auth, booking engine, safety featuresWriting clean and optimized codeTroubleshooting and improving system performanceRequired Skills & Experience:Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Express, and NestJSKnowledge of JavaScript or TypeScriptExperience with SQL databasesExperience building REST APIsUnderstanding of real-time systems (Socket.IO preferred)Experience integrating 3rd-party services (SMS, payment, maps etc.)Problem-solving and debugging skillsGood to Have:Experience with AWS / Linux serversExperience in mobility, ride-sharing or real-time appsKnowledge of Git & version controlWork Location: Rohtak, HaryanaWhy Join Us?Build a real product from scratchWork directly with the founderFast growth opportunityStartup culture + freedom to create
