Job Title: Software Tester

Location: Remote 

Experience: 3 to 5 years 


Company Overview:

Lucid Growth is an innovative startup specializing in SaaS email security and email marketing solutions. We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Software Tester to join our team, ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge products.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Testing & Validation:

 - Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger. 

 - Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of SaaS products with multi-tenant architectures. 

 - Execute database testing, including SQL queries and data validation. 

 - Ensure browser compatibility testing for web-based SaaS applications. 


2. Automation & CI/CD:

 - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. 

 - Integrate automated testing workflows with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent tools. 


3. Security & Performance Testing:

 - Identify vulnerabilities such as authentication flaws, data leaks, and unauthorized access risks, following OWASP guidelines. 

 - Utilize performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to ensure system scalability and reliability. 


4. Collaboration & Documentation:

 - Work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to identify testing needs. 

 - Document test cases, defect reports, and testing strategies clearly and comprehensively. 


5. Continuous Improvement:

 - Optimize testing processes for frequent SaaS updates. 

 - Identify and mitigate potential risks in the software early in the development lifecycle. 


Required Skills & Qualifications:


1. Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in API testing and database validation. 

- Hands-on experience with SaaS product testing and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 

- Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress). 

- Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). 

- Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. 


2. Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. 

- Excellent communication and documentation skills. 

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 


3. Additional Experience (Preferred):

- Knowledge of subscription-based billing models and payment workflow testing. 

- Familiarity with real-time collaboration tools common in SaaS platforms.
