• Education: Bachelor’s Or Master’s Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Or Related Field.
• Experience: 10 To 15 Years Of Experience In Trailer Design, Vehicle Engineering, Or Related Fields, With At Least 8 Years In Core Trailer Design
Technical Expertise:
- Advanced Proficiency In CAD Software (Creo, Solidworks, CATIA, Or Similar).
- Strong Interpretation Skills With Structural Analysis, Stress Testing, And Simulation Tools.
- Expertise In Trailer Systems, Load bearing Structures, Materials, And Manufacturing Processes.
- Conduct Design Calculations, Including Stress, Load, And Safety Analysis.
- Troubleshoot And Resolve Engineering Issues During The Manufacturing Process Or Post production.
- Stay Updated On The Latest Technologies And Trends In Trailer Design And Transport Engineering.
- Experience In Electric, Or Specialized Trailer Designs (E.G., Refrigerated Trailers, Special Purpose Trailers & Modular Desig ns) Is A Plus.
- Experience With PLM Systems Is An Added Advantage
- Extensive Experience In The Design And Integration Of Trailer Modules, Including Gooseneck, Tail, And Ramps, Focusing On Func tio nality, Strength, And Safety.
- In depth Understanding Of Trailer Systems, Materials, And Manufacturing Processes. Familiarity With Relevant Industry Standards (E.G., ISO, DOT) And Safety
- Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Interact With Clients, Present Technical Informatio n, And Prepare Detailed Reports And Documentation.
- Proven Experience Leading And Mentoring A Team Of Engineers, Managing Performance, Resolving Conflicts, And Fostering Profess ion al Growth Within The Team.
