The Company is acting worldwide from our headquarters in Europe (Spain) and our centres in India, China and Middle East leading projects in the Upstream, Downstream, Circular Economy and Transition Energy.


NOVARGI Indian branch, is mainly focused on Detail Engineering activities for the whole group and Project management activities.


Job Overview:

As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified engineering professionals to meet the project needs and workforce requirements of our oil and gas plant projects. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, understanding technical job requirements, and creating a seamless candidate experience.


Location: Gurgaon, India


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract engineering talent across various functions, including process engineering, mechanical engineering, project management, and site management.
  • Utilize multiple channels (e.g., job boards, LinkedIn, industry networks) to source candidates with relevant oil and gas experience.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and assess candidates for technical skills and cultural fit.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand the technical requirements and nuances of each role.
  • Guide and educate hiring managers on recruitment processes, best practices, and market insights.
  • Coordinate and conduct technical interviews alongside subject matter experts.
  • Ensure smooth communication with candidates throughout the interview process.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience, ensuring clear communication, timely feedback, and a respectful hiring journey.
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates, answering their questions about the role, culture, and expectations.
  • Stay informed on hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and skills demand within the oil and gas engineering sector in India.
  • Provide insights to the HR team on the talent market, competitor hiring practices, and emerging recruitment channels.


About your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, administration or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience as a technical recruiter, and at least 2 to 3 years on technical roles within the engineering or oil and gas sector.
  • Familiarity with technical requirements for roles in oil and gas projects, including mechanical, process, chemistry, civil, electrical engineering.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment tools and systems, including ATS and social media recruiting.
  • English fluent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple open roles and priorities.
