Job Summary:

The Network Engineer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Corporate IT team, responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, cloud environments (Azure), and disaster recovery solutions. This role involves managing critical infrastructure, troubleshooting complex network issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the performance, availability, and security of the organization’s IT systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain corporate IT network infrastructure (Cisco routers, switches, SDWAN, Firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
  • Administer cloud platforms and services (Azure), including IaaS, VPC/Vnet, and cloud monitoring solutions.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Engineers to plan and implement cloud environments and resources.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
  • Monitor network and system performance using tools like DataDog and OpManager.
  • Support disaster recovery and high availability solutions for the organization’s infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain documentation and best practices for cloud and network environments.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and assist with after-hours support when needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and collaborate with internal teams for fast issue resolution.


Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and network design.
  • Experience with Cisco routers, switches (IOS, NX-OS), VPNs, SD-WAN, and security products (ASA, NGFW, Firepower).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and related networking concepts (VPC, VPN, load balancing).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python scripting.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as DataDog, OpManager, and related technologies.
  • CCNA, CCNP, Azure, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
