- Project Manager Schneider Electric (SE) is the global specialist in energy management and automation. The versatile product portfolio addresses all energy needs of industries as well as residential.About the group (SD): All IT needs for SE are managed by a group called Schneider Digital (SD); spread across 303 locations in 60 countries with over 2300 staff; along with various engagements with all major Global IT Service Providers.About the role\: There are various Business as well as Digital transformation initiatives within Schneider Digital for making it agile as well as best in class. This role's pivotal responsibility would be to lead one of the global initiatives, taking up complete end-to-end ownership of Project Management, right from Business Requirement gathering to showcasing the ROI.FunctionalExperience in leading large cross functional/domain Project teamsGo-to-person for all Project related informationCoordinating the overall governance for the projectDefine and implement operating rhythmCapture and monitor all key metrics as required by the Schneider Electrics Customer Service and Quality teamsExperience in managing challenging stakeholdersAbility to validate change requestsExperience in Change management/Business TransformationTechnical/Project ManagementHands on extensive experience in preparing detailed Project Schedules using standard tools like Microsoft Project Planner (MPP)Extensive experience in Budget and Forecast planning, tracking actual CostsShould have delivered at least five large projects from end-to-end project management aspectExperience in managing Global Projects spanning at least 10 countriesGood knowledge of SDLC and various Software development frameworks (Agile, Iterative, DEVOPS)Prior experience in Delivery / Product ManagementShould have managed budgetsExperience in managing multi-year long projects.Ability to churn and present numbers in different dimensions as per the needExpertise in getting into lowest level of details and planningPrepare/validate Statement of Work for suppliersEssential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Project planning and tracking of activities/tasksEscalate and identify other routes where progress is stuckTracking and following up the action items at a project levelEnsure all requests are addressed in a timely manner with optimal solutionSimplify – use every opportunity to simplify to the maximum extent possible and go the extra mile in doing soCollaborate with internal teams to address Business needsAssume personal responsibility for achieving defined outcomesEffectively plan & organize work to deliver consistent resultsEnsure regular and optimal communication with all stakeholdersStake Holder ManagementBudgeting and forecasting for the year and tracking expenses regularly.Manage Escalations, ensuring nothing goes to the next levelDesired Skills (Nice to have in addition to the Required Skills)Knowledge of Enterprise ArchitectureFamiliar with latest Digital Trends in Finance & AccountingDelivered E2E projects in ERP/Infra/Cloud/Finance/HR/Data domainsShift TimingsThis is a Global Project spanning several countries in various time zone. Depending on the need the requirement would be to work in different time zones including US time zones.Masters in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science
