Civil Engineering Designer Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Designer to assist our team with design and drafting of site servicing plans, site grading plans, erosion and sediment control plans, pre- and post-development drainage plans; calculations for stormwater management, functional servicing, and floodplain cut and fill analysis.Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D or other computer-assisted design/drafting equipment.Coordinate project drawings with project engineers and others.Ensure that the projects' needs are met in a timely and effective manner.Key Responsibilities:Complete design drawings in accordance with local standards and guidelines.Prepare calculations for stormwater management, functional servicing, and floodplain cut and fill analysis.Work under the direction of senior engineers and collaborate with the team.Requirements:Minimum 3+ years of experience in civil engineering.Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or related qualifications.Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong computer software skills in MS Word and Excel.Familiarity with municipal and regional design and drafting standards and guidelines in Ontario, Canada.
