Inviting applications for the role of Vice President - Enterprise Product Development Leader
As IT Enterprise Product Development Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a technology team of 100+ professionals. You will oversee the development of our strategic enterprise product utilizing technologies such as AWS, ServiceNow, Power BI, Node.js, and Python, following Agile methodologies. The product is aimed at serving a large operations team within our organization. Your leadership will be critical in quickly adopting requirements with a startup mentality, working closely with the product business team to gather and understand their requirements. You should have extensive experience in developing large systems and possess enterprise architect skills to architect complex systems in a similar technology stack. Additionally, you will ensure delivery planning, adequate staffing, people management, and ongoing support for the platform.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and manage a technology team of 100 professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and Agile principles.
- Manage people, including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and career development.
Architectural Design and Development:
- Utilize your enterprise architect skills to design and oversee the development of the product's technical architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance using AWS, ServiceNow, Power BI, Node.js, and Python.
- Lead the integration and utilization of the specified technologies to create a cohesive and scalable product.
Agile Product Development:
Implement and drive Agile methodologies to enhance product development efficiency and responsiveness to changing requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the product business team to synthesize requirements into product features and align development efforts accordingly.
Startup Mentality and Agility:
- Embrace a startup mentality to quickly adapt to evolving requirements and market trends, driving innovation and agility within the team.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and rapid iteration to ensure the product remains competitive and responsive to organizational needs.
Delivery Planning and Adequate Staffing:
- Work closely with the product business team to gather, analyze, and understand requirements for the product, ensuring alignment with operational and business needs.
- Ensure effective delivery planning, resource allocation, and staffing to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Strategically plan and manage the team's workload and priorities to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements of the platform to meet operational needs and ensure a seamless user experience.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technology leadership roles, managing large team IT professionals, and developing large-scale systems.
- Proficiency in AWS, ServiceNow, Power BI, Node.js, and Python.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
- Expertise in cloud-based architecture, microservices, and enterprise-level system design.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Previous experience in architecting and developing products in a similar technology stack.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and enterprise-level product management.
