Role Overview

We are seeking a Security Associate to ensure the highest standards of safety and security across airport operations. The role involves supervising security processes for passengers, staff, baggage, and cargo in compliance with regulatory requirements (BCAS/DGCA) and airline policies. The position also requires strong leadership skills to guide junior associates while ensuring smooth coordination with airport authorities and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and conduct security checks for passengers, staff, baggage, and cargo as per BCAS/DGCA regulations.
  • Supervise access control to restricted areas of the airport and ensure adherence to airline and airport security protocols.
  • Monitor CCTV, baggage screening systems, and conduct random checks to detect and prevent security threats.
  • Lead and mentor junior security associates during shifts.
  • Handle security incidents, emergencies, or breaches promptly and prepare detailed incident reports.
  • Coordinate with CISF, BCAS officials, airport operators, and airline departments for security clearances and compliance.
  • Ensure proper documentation, logbooks, and records of security operations are maintained.
  • Support audits, inspections, and regulatory checks to ensure compliance at all times.

Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline (preference to candidates with Aviation/Airport Security background).
  • 3–6 years of experience in airline or airport security, with exposure to supervisory responsibilities.
  • Valid AVSEC certification (initial or refresher) and Screeners Certification (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of BCAS/DGCA regulations and airport security procedures.
  • Excellent communication, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.
