The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud migration, VMware, GCVE, GKE, and a strong understanding of networking and security. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on technical skills and the ability to engage with clients, estimate solutions, and lead delivery teams.Desired Qualifications- 6+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in GCP cloud engineering.- Proven experience in GCP architecture, cloud migration, and presales.- Hands-on expertise with VMware, GCVE, and GKE.- Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud security.- Experience in effort estimation, proposal writing, and client engagement.- GCP certifications (e.G., Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.An ideal candidate should possess:Presales & Solutioning- Lead client conversations to understand business requirements and translate them into GCP-based solutions.- Develop proposals, solution architectures, and effort estimations for cloud migration and modernization projects.- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to support RFPs, RFIs, and client presentations.Cloud Engineering & Migration- Architect and implement cloud migration strategies from on-premise or other cloud platforms to GCP.- Design and deploy solutions using Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).- Provide hands-on guidance and technical leadership during migration and modernization efforts.Infrastructure & Security- Design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure.- Implement best practices in network architecture, firewall policies, IAM, and data protection.- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.Leadership & Collaboration- Mentor and guide engineering teams across multiple projects.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application, data, and security architects.- Stay current with GCP innovations and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.Preferred Skills:- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.- Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsLocation and way of working:- Base location: Pan India- This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.- Hybrid is our default way of working.
