Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for software sales to B2B Academic or Education industry only .
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Responsible for Generating Leads In Academics Sector. Ensured lead generation flow every day.
  • Having Experience in Data profiling, market Research, email, Cold call.
  • Can Establish contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions accordingly
  • fixing a meeting of the clients/ Prospect with Account Manager respectively on a daily basis.
  • Target Oriented, Fluent in Communication, Requirement Gathering etc



Preferred candidate profile


  • Proven software sales experience in Academic or Education industry is must.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing outbound calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Exp- 2+ years in software sales to academic.
