Job Posting for Freelance Azure Data EngineerWe are looking for an experienced freelance Azure data engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring robust data observability and streaming.Pipeline Development: We require the ability to design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks (PySpark) for efficient data transformation and integration.Data Exchange: Building and managing API integrations for seamless data exchange between systems is also a key requirement.Database Management: The ideal candidate will have expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures for data transformation, analysis, and performance tuning.Cloud Services: Implementing and managing Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, ensuring scalability and high performance.Automation: Developing Python-based data processing solutions for automation, orchestration, and transformation tasks.Data Observability: Integrating and configuring Vectr for log management and real-time data streaming, optimizing data pipelines and ensuring data flow integrity.Data Security: Ensuring data security, governance, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.Performance Optimization: Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing the performance of data workflows, ensuring reliability and scalability.Quality Assurance: Writing unit tests and collaborating with the testing team to ensure automated testing is fully integrated.The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
