Our organization is seeking an experienced NetSuite accountant to oversee financial management and ensure accuracy and efficiency in our operations. As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks including bank and payment reconciliation, credit card expense reconciliation, e-commerce reconciliation, general ledger and financial close, inventory and COGS reconciliation, and reporting and automation setup.BANK AND PAYMENT RECONCILIATION: This involves daily/weekly import and matching of bank data using Bank Feeds, automated bank reconciliation rules setup (mapping payees, transaction types, variances), investigating unmatched bank transactions, and creating missing GL entries.CREDIT CARD EXPENSE RECONCILIATION: The role requires importing corporate card transactions into NetSuite (Amex, Chase, Capital One, etc.), mapping transactions to expense categories and departments/classes, matching credit card transactions to vendor bills, and monthly reconciliation of credit card statements to GL balances.E-COMMERCE RECONCILIATION: The successful candidate will match payments with orders for Shopify, Walmart, eBay, Home Depot EDI, Amazon Vendor Central, adjust for chargebacks, returns, fees, commission, and other factors.GENERAL LEDGER AND FINANCIAL CLOSE: This involves monthly and annual accounting period close in NetSuite, reviewing and posting adjusting journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory & COGS, Deferred revenue, Fixed assets & depreciation.INVENTORY AND COGS RECONCILIATION: The candidate will match inventory receipts, vendor bills, and landed cost calculations, resolve variances between purchase orders, item receipts, and bills, and ensure correct costing method (FIFO/average/standard).REPORTING AND AUTOMATION SETUP: The role includes building saved searches for reconciliation workflows, creating dashboards for stakeholders, KPI reporting on AR aging, cash flow, chargebacks, and profitability by channel.Proven experience with NetSuite implementation, customization, and integration.Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Competitive salary and benefits package.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.A dynamic and supportive work environment.Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
