Supply Planning Role OverviewThe Supply Planning Manager plays a critical role within the organization. The key responsibilities and KPIs of this position include:Generating consensus supply/demand plans based on statistical forecasting and sales/marketing inputs for the category, driving improvement in forecast accuracy.Steering the business planning process, providing in-depth analytics to leadership, commercial, logistics, and plant teams.Directing supply planners on primary distribution of goods to warehouses to improve case-fill rates.Processing lead metrics for monthly inventory management, stock level optimization, and SKU productivity.Designing and tracking performance using data visualization tools.Serving as the single point of contact for all commercial meetings for effective execution of promotions/new launches/transitions.Collaborating with marketing and finance teams to evaluate advertisement/promotional activities against historical events.Acting as a conduit between commercial and supply chain planning teams to address gaps/transitions.This role requires a strong understanding of demand planning, business continuity, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess strong communication skills.
