The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and maintainability of local developments and InfoBasic/jBASE programs.Key Responsibilities:Coding Standards and Compliance: Ensure all InfoBasic programs and T24 routines adhere to coding standards, naming conventions, and industry best practices.Peer Reviews and Code Enhancement: Perform comprehensive peer reviews to enhance reliability, performance, and maintainability of core banking customizations.Code Quality and Robustness: Review InfoBasic subroutines, batch jobs, and local developments for correctness, robustness, and effective error handling.Data Integrity and Validation: Validate file operations, ensuring proper locking, retry logic, and data integrity.Compatibility and Performance Optimization: Check compatibility and correctness of functions, statements, and syntax across T24 release versions and optimize complex database queries.Solution Assessment and Improvement: Assess performance implications of developed solutions and recommend improvements.Code Readability and Refactoring: Evaluate code readability, design, and complexity; suggest refactoring when required.Error Handling and Logging: Ensure proper logging, data validation, archival mechanisms, and exception handling, especially for financial transactions and interfaces.Testing and Feedback: Verify presence and quality of unit and functional tests to minimize regression risk before deployment and provide constructive feedback and mentor junior developers.
