Job Title: Design DirectorThis is a dynamic role for an experienced Design Director who will lead the design and creative output of our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of design and ensuring that deliverables meet client expectations.Key Responsibilities:Lead planning of layouts and concept designing of interior fit-outs of commercial & residential spaces within defined timelines.Manage a team of Interior Designers and 3D Visualizers to deliver drawings and designs as per client requirement and budget.Understand client requirements, engage with clients, and handle projects from start to end, coordinating with internal procurement teams and site execution teams for smooth project functioning.Select material finishes to be used/applied and obtain client approval.Create various schedules for a project like furniture, general & decorative light fixtures, carpets, etc.Coordinate with Graphic Designers for creation of wallpaper designs & other graphic design elements as per client's requirement & feedback.Knowledge of working drawings/technical drawings & coordination of same at site for execution.Required Skills and Qualifications:4+ years in designing corporate & residential spaces, knowledge about interior elements and building structure.Strong design sense.Well-versed with design codes followed in different states of USA.Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize to meet daily, weekly, and long-term requirements and goals.Track record of delivering outstanding high-quality design, leading teams on high-profile projects.Excellent interpersonal skills, strong persuasive communicator with excellent verbal presentation skills, and ability to communicate design concepts to clients.Process-oriented, ambitious out-of-the-box approach with ability to motivate team members.Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.Comprehensive and extensive knowledge of materials, costing, GFC details.Understanding of client engagement.Understanding of technical drawings.Multi-tasking ability.Benefits:Drafting skills - Proficient in Autocad.Quantity Assessment - Proficient in MS Excel.Photoshop, Sketchup / 3DS-Max.Design conceptualization writing.Project pitch presentations.Attention to detail.Team management.Others:Exposure to drafting skills, quantity assessment, and design tools.
