About the Role We are looking for Senior CAE/CAD Automation Developers . You will design and implement advanced automation solutions for CAD/CAE workflows, integrate with PLM systems, and lead initiatives that reduce design cycle time and improve engineering productivity . This role offers exposure to global OEM projects , cutting-edge tools, and opportunities to mentor automation teams . Key Responsibilities Develop and customize CAD/CAE automation tools using CAA V5, EKL, NX Open, CATScript, TCL/Tk, Python, VB.NET, C++ . Automate design and simulation workflows across platforms like CATIA, NX, Creo, SolidWorks, Hypermesh, Ansa, Ansys, Abaqus . Integrate CAD/CAE systems with PLM platforms (3DEXPERIENCE, Teamcenter) for seamless data flow. Implement pre-processing and post-processing automation for FEA/CFD workflows, including mesh generation, validation, and report automation . Collaborate with global engineering and IT teams to deploy scalable automation solutions . Drive Agile-based development , manage sprints, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automation tools. Required Skills Strong experience in CAD/CAE tools (CATIA V5, NX, Creo, Hypermesh, Ansa, Ansys). Proficiency in CAA V5, EKL, NX Open, TCL/Tk, Python, VB.NET, C#, C++ . Hands-on with PLM integration , automation frameworks, and data validation scripts . Knowledge of Agile methodology , version control (Git), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). Preferred: Experience in CAE process automation , PLM migration , and team leadership . Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science , or related field. 5–12 years of experience in CAD/CAE automation and customization . Please note: These positions are not fully remote. Selected candidates will be required to work from an Infosys office near their current location.
