Role Overview: 

We are looking for a Lead - Business Intelligence and Analysis to join our dynamic team at Numerize.ai. If you're an analytical thinker with an engineering background and 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, we want you to help us deliver exceptional financial reports and drive data-based decision-making. The ideal candidate will be a mathematical genius with an exceptional ability to identify and solve problems quickly. You should have a keen understanding of how businesses work, be customer-obsessed, and bring an innovative mindset to the table to help us continuously improve our offerings.


As a Lead, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your exceptional analysis skills to create business intelligence solutions that solve real-world challenges for our customers. You will play a key role in analyzing data, delivering high-quality financial reports, identifying trends, and providing insights that will guide strategic decision-making and growth.


Key Responsibilities: 

- Lead the design and implementation of business intelligence solutions to deliver accurate and exceptional financial reports. 

- Analyze complex financial data sets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights that improve business performance. 

- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven financial solutions. 

- Solve problems and uncover opportunities with quick, sharp analytical thinking and a keen eye for detail. 

- Develop financial models, dashboards, and reports that support decision-making and strategic initiatives. 

- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance the functionality and accuracy of financial reporting tools and processes. 

- Continuously monitor business metrics and KPIs, proactively identifying areas for improvement in financial performance. 

- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on data analysis, contributing to the overall business strategy. 

- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization, helping teams to leverage data to optimize their work.


Desired Skills and Experience: 

- Qualifications: Engineering background (preferably Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields). 

- Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field. 

- Mathematical Genius: Strong analytical skills with an exceptional ability to solve problems quickly and identify patterns in large data sets. 

- Business Understanding: A deep understanding of how businesses operate and a customer-obsessed mindset to drive solutions that add value to customers. 

- Startup Enthusiast: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment with a passion for innovation and solving complex challenges. 

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to clearly present insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels. 

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, Excel, etc.) and experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.). 

- Problem Solver: Ability to think on your feet, uncover hidden patterns, and solve business problems with smart and efficient solutions. 

- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a team of disruptors and innovators, tackling challenges together with enthusiasm and creativity.


Compensation Package: 

- Salary: ₹12 - ₹15 LPA (depending on experience and qualifications)
