Role Overview:We are looking for a Lead - Financial Reporting and Accounting Innovations to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in corporate finance and accounting, preferably with an All India CA Rank and 2-3 years of experience in the corporate world. The ideal candidate will be an innovator who can identify gaps in existing financial processes and develop new strategies to improve efficiency and align with the organization's goals. Your role will be pivotal in helping Numerize.ai scale by driving improvements in financial reporting and leveraging AI and automation to meet the evolving needs of the global F&B industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of innovative financial reporting and accounting processes.- Identify process inefficiencies and gaps, proposing and executing solutions for continuous improvement.- Work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to design solutions that address customer challenges.- Ensure that accounting and financial processes are aligned with organizational goals, contributing to the overall success of the business.- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.- Implement AI-driven automation to improve the efficiency of financial operations, reduce manual work, and enhance reporting accuracy.- Build and refine financial models for forecasting business performance, supporting decision-making across the organization.- Monitor industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to stay ahead of the curve and innovate accounting processes.- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team, encouraging new ideas and collaborative problem-solving.
Desired Skills and Experience:- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) with All India Rank or equivalent qualification.- Experience: 2-3 years of corporate finance and accounting experience, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to identify gaps in processes and devise innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.- Customer-Centric: A passion for understanding customer needs and developing solutions that exceed expectations.- Innovation-Oriented: Experience in using automation and AI tools to drive innovation in accounting and finance functions.- Team Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with own and cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders.- Startup Enthusiast: Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-evolving environment, with a strong ability to adapt to change.- Technical Skills: Familiarity with accounting software, AI, and automation tools is a plus.
Compensation Package:- Salary: ₹12 - ₹15 LPA (depending on experience and qualifications)
