Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor financial performance against these benchmarks.

Financial Reporting:

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for management, including variance analysis and explanations of financial performance.

Cost Management and Efficiency:

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements across the organization.
  • Implement cost control measures and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Work closely with department heads to optimize resource allocation and financial performance.

Commercial Support:

  • Collaborate with the commercial team to support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and financial modeling.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities and investments.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within the finance team.
  • Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve their goals.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identify and assess financial risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.

Monthly Financial Newsletter:

  • Develop and distribute a monthly financial newsletter for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highlight key financial performance metrics, significant achievements, and market trends.
  • Communicate insights on financial strategies, upcoming projects, and potential challenges.
  • Ensure the newsletter is accessible, informative, and aligned with the company's communication standards.

Special Projects:

  • Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
  • Provide financial expertise and support for cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensure the company's adherence to all relevant statutory laws, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Income Tax regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and implement necessary adjustments in company policies and practices
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.


Qualifications and Experience:

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

4-5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with demonstrated expertise in handling payables, receivables, audit queries, and overall finance and accounts operations.

Proven track record of managing financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation laws.

Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skil

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Attention to detail and accuracy in work, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
