Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Accounting Manager to oversee and manage our company's financial accounting functions. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and take on a leadership role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entriesPrepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsEnsure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and maintain adequate controls and budgetsManage the construction draw process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds for construction activitiesCoordinate and facilitate the yearly audit and tax compliance processEstablish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assetsMonitor and report on actual expenses versus budget and participate in cash management position and forecastingProvide management with information vital to decision-makingOversee the use of Yardi, our Property and Accounting softwareDevelop and implement processes to improve efficiency and effectivenessRequirements:CA/CPA certification with 8-10 years of experience in real estate/construction industryStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and quality of deliverablesExcellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skillsHighly organized, strong attention to detail, and excellent follow-up skillsAbility to demonstrate critical thinking skills in decision makingExcellent analytical and quantitative skillsDemonstrated leadership and management skillsSuperior ability to track and meet deadlines, focused on overcoming obstaclesHigh level of computer skills, including extensive experience with Yardi or similar real estate accounting systemsAbility to take initiative and manage teams effectivelyWhat We Offer:A competitive salary and benefits packageThe opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced industryA comprehensive training program to support your growth and developmentA collaborative and supportive work environmentOngoing opportunities for professional growth and advancement
