About the RoleAs a talented Backend Developer, you will play a vital part in building scalable APIs, real-time systems, and backend architecture for our innovative ride mobility platform. You will work closely with our founder and engineering partners to design and develop high-performance backend services that drive growth and success.Responsibilities Include:Designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services.Creating APIs for drivers, users, rides, payments, tracking, and more.Implementing real-time communication using WebSockets or Socket.IO.Managing database structure, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.Integrating OTP/auth, booking engine, safety features, and other essential functionalities.Writing clean, optimized code that meets industry standards.Troubleshooting and improving system performance for seamless user experience.Required Skills & ExperienceWe are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in Node.js, Express, and NestJS. A solid understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript is also crucial. Additionally, experience with SQL databases, building REST APIs, and integrating 3rd-party services (SMS, payment, maps) is highly valued. Problem-solving skills, debugging abilities, and at least 1–3 years of backend development experience are essential.Good to HaveAWS/Linux server experience, knowledge of Git/version control, and familiarity with mobility, ride-sharing, or real-time apps are considered desirable qualities.
