Product Development OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team. This role offers clear career progression opportunities, including Head of Engineering or Product Manager, and provides the chance to build products that combine AI and real-world impact.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain, improve, and extend the Ubuntoo AI application.Lead the build-out of new product features: architecture → coding → testing → deployment.Write clean, scalable code across the stack (React, Node.js/Java + Python).Manage engineering workflows including Jira, code reviews, and quality standards.Support product discovery: translate user needs into product requirements.Integrate with AI components (RAG pipelines, API-driven LLM features, AI agents).Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of backend services and cloud infrastructure.Collaborate with cross-functional teammates (client managers, analysts, operations).RequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.2 – 3 years of software development experience.Strong in at least two of: React (front-end), Python, Node.js/Java.Understanding of APIs, microservices, and modern web app architecture.Exposure to AI concepts — RAG, LangChain-style orchestration, vector databases — enough to integrate and use them (not develop models from scratch).Solid understanding of relational & non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.What We OfferLearn directly from a US-based CTO.Clear career path: grow into Head of Engineering or Product Manager depending on strengths.Build products that combine AI + real-world impact.Work in a flexible, global, mission-driven environment.
