Position Review:

  • Create Dropwise Merchandise Display Manuals (MDMs) specifically for the Home /Non-Apps & National Brands.
  • Regular reviews and training to enhance adherence to objectives and contributions towards overall profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • The role involves implementing visual merchandising strategies, maintaining brand standards, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to create an appealing shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Implementation:

  • Create Dropwise Merchandise Display Manuals (MDMs) specifically for the Home and Non-Apps Private Brands (PB).
  • Ensure the quality and timely completion of MDMs for a seamless rollout, while maintaining straightforward guidelines for the frontend team.
  • Schedule regular reviews with the Merchandise Presentation Head VM to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Work closely with the VM Operations team and category teams to communicate visual merchandising standards and expectations.
  • Train and coach store staff on visual merchandising best practices and the importance of maintaining display standards.

Monthly Model Stores Drive:

  • Organize monthly training sessions and walks in key stores to lead the team effectively during model store assessments.
  • Roll out MDMs promptly across Home, Non-Apps PB, Impulse, and provide direction for NB displays.
  • Collect feedback and continuously improve the MDM rollout process with input from the Merchandise Presentation Head VM.

Creative Direction:

  • Manage the creation and roll-out of Merchandise Display Manuals (MDMs) for assigned categories.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to oversee the timely implementation of new displays and merchandising concepts
  • Introduce innovative visual merchandising ideas and techniques to enhance the overall shopping experience and drive sales.
  • Stay informed about current trends in visual merchandising and retail to ensure the brand remains relevant and appealing.


Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in visual Merchandising, Fashion Design or a related field (preferred).
  • Coral Draw & Photoshop.
