As a skilled Data Engineer, you will play a vital role in the success of our organization by leading the migration initiative from Teradata to Cerebro (BigQuery). This project requires collaboration with data and reporting teams to ensure seamless integration and validation of Power BI reports.Key Responsibilities:We are looking for someone to support the migration of reporting data sources from Teradata to BigQuery, ensuring that all existing reports are accurately repointed and validated.The successful candidate will design and develop new tables, views, and queries in BigQuery to support migrated reports, optimizing data pipelines for improved performance and efficiency.This role involves conducting QA validation to ensure data accuracy and performance parity post-migration, collaborating closely with the BI and infrastructure teams.Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to query performance, permissions, or connectivity is also a key aspect of this position.Requirements:Mid to Senior level experience (5-10 years) is required for this role, along with fluent English skills for international team collaboration.A standard daily overlap with EST is necessary, as well as a 100% remote work model.The required tech stack includes GCP - BigQuery, Cloud Storage, while database/tools expertise in Teradata, SQL, and Power BI (report connectivity) is essential.Offer Details:A competitive salary package is offered based on experience.
