Account Management Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of daily accounting records in Tally. This involves maintaining up-to-date ledger heads, ensuring error-free data entry, and conducting periodic reconciliations.Key responsibilities include:Performing daily accounting entries in Tally, including expense booking, income booking, purchase booking, and maintaining accurate classification of ledger heads.Conducting periodic reconciliation of income, expenses, bank statements, vendor and customer balances, and GST reconciliation.Ensuring timely collection and verification of bills/invoices from relevant departments.Preparing statutory returns, including monthly GST return (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B) and quarterly TDS return.Assisting in handling GST and TDS queries and maintaining working papers.FOLLOWING Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring 100% compliance.Maintaining systematic and well-organized physical and digital documentation of all accounting records.Coordinating with internal departments to resolve document-related and accounts-related discrepancies.Assisting in month-end closing activities and MIS preparation when required.Supporting the Accounts Manager during internal/external audits by providing required information and schedules.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or equivalent.1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (Travel industry experience preferred but not mandatory).Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliances (GST & TDS).Strong attention to detail and discipline in following SOPs.Ability to maintain organized documentation and meet deadlines.
