Assistant Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Company Secretarial and Legal professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of relevant experience and possess a solid understanding of the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, ROC compliance, and legal aspects related to customer and vendor complaints. This role will involve ensuring compliance with legal requirements, managing corporate governance, and providing legal support to various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and other statutory requirements. Prepare and file necessary documentation with ROC and regulatory bodies.
- Corporate Governance: Assist in the formulation and implementation of corporate governance policies. Support board meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and other related documents.
- Legal Support: Provide legal advice and support to internal teams on various matters, including contracts, agreements, and compliance issues.
- Customer and Vendor Complaints: Address and manage legal aspects of customer and vendor complaints. Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues efficiently.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate legal records and documentation for the company. Ensure all corporate filings and records are up to date.
- Research and Analysis: Stay updated on legal trends and changes in regulations that may impact the company. Conduct legal research as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and/or Company Secretary (CS) qualification.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in a company secretarial and legal role, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and ROC compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
