Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Operations Manager at Volktek in Hyderabad. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the administrative functions across manufacturing operations, general office management, and human resources. This role ensures smooth administrative processes, effective resource allocation, and adherence to company policies in the manufacturing plant, while overseeing HR functions, including recruitment, compliance, and employee relations. The role bridges the gap between production operations and office administration, ensuring efficient workflows and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Administration:
Oversee administrative functions for the manufacturing department, including resource management, scheduling, and production support.
Oversea assembly line, testing station and packing
Ensure proper coordination of factory resources (materials, labour, and equipment) to optimize production efficiency.
Manage the documentation of production processes, reports, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth production workflows, aligning administrative support with production timelines and goals.
Handle procurement and inventory management for manufacturing supplies and equipment.
Liaise with vendors and contractors for factory services and maintenance.

General Administration:
Supervise general office administration, including facility management, office supplies, and day-to-day operational needs.
Ensure smooth functioning of administrative systems, such as file management, communication protocols, and documentation.
Handle contracts and relationships with external service providers, such as security, cleaning, and IT services.
Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to improve office productivity and organization.

Human Resource Administration:
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee development programs for both factory and office staff.
Ensure accurate record-keeping for employee files, attendance, payroll, and benefits administration.
Maintain compliance with local labour laws and health & safety regulations within the manufacturing and office environments.
Address employee grievances and mediate conflicts to foster a positive work environment.
Coordinate performance appraisals, employee engagement activities, and training initiatives.
Ensure that all human resources policies align with company goals and are consistently applied across departments.

Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with labour laws, occupational health and safety regulations, and industry standards in both factory and office settings.
Prepare regular reports on administrative, manufacturing, and HR operations for senior management.
Coordinate internal audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:
5+ years of experience in administration, manufacturing operations, and HR management.
Good understanding of factory workflows, HR best practices, and office management processes.

Skills:
Strong leadership and multitasking skills to handle diverse responsibilities.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using ERP systems, HR software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise across departments.
Knowledge of labour laws, occupational health & safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Experience on Green field will be an added advantage
Experience on Finance and Accounting will be an added advantage
