Collaborate with data governance teams to establish and maintain data governance frameworks, data standards, and data stewardship processes
Assist in defining data quality rules, data classification, and data lineage standards
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data owners, data engineers, reference data analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and provide guidance on data asset usage
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper integration of the data catalog with other data management tools and platforms
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to promote data catalog adoption, educate users on data catalog features and benefits, and address any concerns or inquiries related to the data catalog
Hold training and demos for the end-users on the data catalog tool to ensure easy adoption for the business
Proactively suggest enhancements to the data catalog to improve data discoverability, usability, and governance
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to reference data management
