  • Aspart of the team you will be a key member in delivering thesubcontract design of external fa ade packages for a diverse rangeof architecturally sophisticated buildings throughout the UK andIreland. Reporting to the Design Team Leader you will work closelywith the preconstruction commercial and operational teamsthroughout the design production and installation stages of eachproject.

  • Youwill interpret architectural requirements for the designfabrication and installation of building facades roof lights andfenestration through drawings and other relatedinformation.
Responsibilities
  • Producingworking drawings/designs in accordance with the specificationsreceived from the customer and amendments agreed upon with thecustomer at the preorderstage.

  • Supervisingand monitoring the issuance of drawings and other designinformation by other designers and trainee designers ensuringadherence to the relevant processes andprocedures.

  • Producingflashing schedules procurement schedules and cutting lists insufficient time to allow for internal review and checkingprocedures and to meet manufacturers deliverydates.

  • Attendinghandover meetings to discuss the project identify design areasneeding attention and clarify the scope ofwork.

  • Producingand maintaining the contract file in line with designprocedures.

  • Keepingdaily records of contracts worked on for weeklytimesheets.

  • Providingsupport to the Team Leader Design Manager and all members of theteam.
  • TheEmployer may also assign any specific job to the Employee that theEmployer deemsnecessary.
