It supports Hy-Vee's business growth and modernization needs by accelerating the adoption of technology across enterprise operations. The Hy-Vee IT team is looking to expand its capabilities in software development and delivery with roles such as Agile and full stack and data analysts based out of Bangalore. HST Global will serve the entire IT organization across roles and functions.  Key Responsibilities:Design & Development: Develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes on GCP, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.Cloud Integration: Utilize GCP services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub) to build efficient data processing workflows and manage large-scale datasets.Software Engineering: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code to implement data engineering solutions; adhere to best practices and coding standards.Data Management: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements, ensuring data quality and consistency across systems.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, analytics, and business units to integrate data solutions with broader enterprise systems.Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly while implementing long-term solutions that improve system reliability.Technical/Business Expertise:3 to 6 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on data engineering.Proven track record of designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL solutions.Good proficiency in Python and JAVAHands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, DataForm, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, etc.).Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.Strong understanding of SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design innovative solutions for complex data challenges.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
