As a developing member of the software engineering team, you will implement software solutions by designing, developing, and troubleshooting various components within technical products, applications, or systems, while acquiring the skills and experience necessary for career growth in your roleJob responsibilitiesExecutes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshootingWrites secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidanceDesigns, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implicationsApplies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automationDevelops, Tests, and debugs automated software deliverables for Applications, Systems, and or InfrastructuresTroubleshoots minor incidents, contributes to blameless post-mortemsEngages within the SRE team throughout the software development and participates in major code contributions.Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectNoSQL Cassandra DB (Analyzes, designs, engineers, installs, configures and supports Database Management systems (distributed, midrange, mainframe) in support of business technology requirements; Includes an in depth knowledge of a core database technology and its internals plus knowledge of development practices and automated solutions with focus on customer self-service through API enablement, provisioning, resiliency and database performanceProvide Production support with ITIL ProcessRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experienceStrong NoSQL experience on CassandraHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesDemonstrable ability to code in one or more languagesExperience across the whole Software Development Life CycleExposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityEmerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFamiliarity with modern front-end technologiesExposure to cloud technologiesAWS Certification /Exposure to cloud technologies
