Financial Planning Analyst RoleThis role focuses on performing various tasks that are crucial for the revenue recognition process, journal entries, and financial reconciliations.Key Responsibilities:Revenue Recognition Process: Execute month-end closing processes related to revenue recognition.Journal Entries: Posting of Journal entries related to General Ledger accounting.Revenue Reconciliation: Performing revenue reconciliation between ERP and Portal systems.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordination with stakeholders for accurate revenue provisioning.Forecasting: Driving weekly forecast projections.Reporting: Circulation of Management Information Systems (MIS) and other reports to stakeholders.Scheduling: Preparation of month-end schedules.Variance Analysis: Preparation of Operating Actuals Reports (OARs) basis variance analysis.Account Reconciliation: Assure all accounts are reconciled and supported.Audit Support: Assist external/internal auditors with audit queries.Process Improvement: Coordinate with Support teams for issues/queries.Procedure Documentation: Prepare and maintain documented procedures ensuring compliance.Business Intelligence: Develop Power BI reports for day-to-day needs.Special Projects: Ad-hoc and special projects as needed.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's/master's degree in Finance or Accounting; semi-qualified CA is an added advantage.Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting in revenue accounting.Technical Skills: End-to-end Accounting knowledge is a must; proficiency in MS Office suite.Soft Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills; ability to take ownership of workload and prioritize meeting deadlines; strong ethics with ability to manage confidential data.
