Job Title: Senior Java Software EngineerThis is a senior-level position that involves the design, development, and maintenance of Java applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience working in Agile teams.Key Responsibilities:Design, Develop and Maintain Java Applications: Create high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks to meet business requirements.Build and Integrate REST APIs and SDKs: Build and integrate REST APIs and SDKs with enterprise systems to enable seamless communication between systems.Database Management: Work with databases (SQL/MySQL) for data modeling and querying; understanding of NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate within Agile teams, using Jira for planning and Git for source control. Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation.Optimization and Tuning: Optimize and tune backend code for performance and scalability.Deployment: Support deployment in containerized/cloud environments (Docker, AWS is a plus).Requirements Definition and Solution Delivery: Work closely with business analysts and senior engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.Required Skills and Qualifications:Backend Java Development Experience: 5+ years' hands-on experience as a backend Java developer.Core Java, Spring Boot, and Database Design Skills: Strength in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, database design (SQL/NoSQL).Agile Methodologies, Git, and Unit Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with Agile, Git, and unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).Software Design Principles and Best Practices: Good understanding of software design principles, MVC, OOP, and best practices.Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Practical Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience.Preferred Skills:Cloud Services and Docker Containers: Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker containers.Message Queues and Distributed Caching: Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and distributed caching.Frontend Experience: Frontend experience (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.Strong Analytical, Communication, and Teamwork Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
