Job Description:We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Client Success to provide Tier-2 client support for software technical issues and work with the Engineering department to debug and resolve these issues.Provide technical support to internal and external usersCommunicate and coordinate feedback and inputs to the development teamAssist the QA lead with QA activitiesTroubleshoot technical issues with minimal support from the development teamEngage with internal and external customers to quickly identify the root of their problemsPropose workarounds to customers when fixes take time to be releasedDeliver timely and accurate customer feedbackFollow up with clients to ensure problems are resolvedSupport the roll-out of new applicationsProvide support through procedural documentationManage multiple cases simultaneouslyTest and evaluate new releasesDevelop innovative solutions for smooth operational processesRequired Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information TechnologyWork during US hours (9am to 6pm Central Time)3-5 years of experience in tech support for web-based business applications with mobile interfacesProficiency in Linux, Java, JavaScript (React), MySQL, AWSKnowledge of browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logsExperience with remote desktop applications and help desk softwareExperience with ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello, etc.Background in texting and communication-based applications is beneficialCertifications in Linux, Java, Web Development, AWS are desirable but not requiredExperience with AI tools for daily tasksA developmental mindset to scale into a developer with minimal trainingAttention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsGood written and verbal communicationBenefits:The opportunity to work on complex technical issuesA dynamic and supportive team environmentProfessional growth and development opportunitiesA competitive salary and benefits packageOthers:Please note that this position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 3-5 years of experience in tech support for web-based business applications with mobile interfaces.
