Job Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support to users for Windows Client, Mobile Devices.
  • Working collaboratively with other Endpoint Operations Team members, providing relevant technical expertise and assistance.
  • All administrative activities associated with Windows Client
  • Performing other duties as assigned or required
  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
  • Talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter.
  • Responding to breakdowns
  • Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults repairing equipment and replacing parts.
  • Provides status updates and communicates frequently with/to end-users as well as with local, regional and global support and management teams
  • Maintain configurations of all notebook computer systems according to established standards.
  • Inventory Management.
  • Maintain appropriate records of warranties & license information, ensuring that licenses are kept up to date and are being used according to agreements in place.

Lifting/moving of equipment when required.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required.
  • ITIL / relevant certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in similar role.
  • Experience in effectively communicating and presenting technical concepts to management, peer group and staff

Knowledge:


  • Experience troubleshooting Windows 10, Office Suite, Microsoft edge, VPN/network.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting MS, Android / Apple products
  • Ability to diagnose problems and provide solutions and/or escalate to the appropriate
  • expertise area.
  • Expertise in PC/laptop hardware, software, telecommunications, mobile devices, networking, and server administration.
