Skills-
End to End Ownership for Electrical & Electronics Distribution System delivery with internal packaging, integration, detailed design (2D and 3D CAD) preparation by adhering to Design Quality (Concept Design (DCS), GD&T, DFMEA, DFA, DFS, DFM, DVP&R etc.) and release in system as per internal & external standards and customer requirements.
Deliveries aligning to Performance, Cost & Timeline of Product Development Targets,
Vehicle Level Wiring Harness Design, Verification, Routing & Integration
Selection, Development & Integration of Electrical Components for Lighting Systems, Contactors, Relays, Switch, Fuse, Actuators and other components.
Co-ordinate with development team for various Electrical Component development through Supplier interactions
Overall micro-level Tech Project Management in coordination with all stake holders to ensure delivery as per Targets defined.
Implementation and Ensure 100% compliance as per Design Quality Target & New Product Development Systems.
Technical Coordination with stake holders of other disciplines of Product Development, Validation Team, Vendors / Suppliers, Marketing, Sales, Servicing & Customer Care
Create a Roadmap for Benchmarking & Knowledge Management with Customer Focus by interacting with different agencies so that latest technology is implemented to ensure continuous improvements in product’s performance & technology.
Responsible for Cost Reduction through Value Engineering process
Preparation of concepts and detail parametric design for vehicle System Parts (mentioned above) for Electric Vehicles; in a complex packaging environment from predevelopment to series development phase
Evaluate and Engineering the design concepts for the attributes such as DFM, DFA, DFS, Cost, Quality and Time line
Interface and DMU analysis, generate a report and seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders to resolve packaging and integration challenges.
Preparation, design review, control and monitor Design Quality documents and its major elements such as Benchmarking, Design Concept Sheet, GD&T, DFMEA, DVP&R etc
Ensure 100% compliance to Design Quality Targets & Lectrix Product Development Systems with Timely release of First Time Right Design.
