Your Roles and Responsibilities Include but not limited to:


  • Conduct analyses following internal procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain meticulous records of analyses, adhering to company documentation standards.
  • Prepare test solutions, volumetric solutions, and samples for analysis with precision and accuracy.
  • Perform sampling, physical, and chemical tests, and assays on various pharmaceutical products within the laboratory environment.
  • Utilize a range of analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Malvern, IR, Auto Titrator, UV Spectrophotometer, Karl Fisher (KF), Potentiometer, etc.
  • Execute analyses with a comprehensive understanding of test procedures and instrument operation, ensuring reliable results.
  • Conduct maintenance and calibrations of laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
  • Adhere strictly to regulatory and in-house requirements, including safety protocols, housekeeping standards, waste management procedures, cGMP, cGLP, and documentation practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date training for GMP tasks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of test procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and protocols, providing input to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Promptly report any nonconforming data or unexpected occurrences to the manager for further investigation.
  • Organize work schedule efficiently to complete tasks on schedule, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or M.SC in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Pharmaceutical Quality Control Laboratory; or equivalent education and relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in cGxP and GMP regulations, as well as Quality Control Laboratory Instruments.
  • Strong report writing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new techniques, multitask, maintain accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.

Physical demand/Factors:

• While executing the responsibilities of this role, the employee must meticulously observe the quality control tests undertaken or delegated to them, keenly noting any deviations or abnormalities within the samples being analyzed. This necessitates strong visual acuity to discern subtle differences, fine motor skills for precise manipulation of laboratory instruments and samples, and the ability to sustain focus for extended periods. Additionally, the employee should possess the physical endurance to stand for prolonged durations while moving throughout the laboratory, ensuring accurate monitoring of quality control tests. Adherence to safety protocols, including the appropriate use of personal protective equipment, is imperative due to potential exposure to hazardous chemicals during observation.
