This individual will leverage advanced analytical skills and domain expertise to drive best-in-class solutions.Key Responsibilities:Develop, validate, and implement data-driven risk management strategies to support credit, fraud, customer experience, marketing verticals, and other areasAnalyze large datasets, ensure data integrity, perform exploratory analysis, and evaluate new data sources for strategy developmentMaintain detailed documentation of approach and techniques used, including objectives, assumptions, performance, weaknesses, and limitationsStay up-to-date with emerging tools, technologies, and platformsCollaborate with engineers to validate and deploy scalable solutionsPartner with cross-functional teams to gather insights and further develop analytical expertiseRequirements:Possess a quantitative degree (e.g., computer science, data science, engineering, economics, mathematics)Hold at least 3 years of experience in Data ScienceHave at least 2 years of experience in the financial services sectorDemonstrate ability to design and implement risk strategies in production environmentsShow deep understanding of segmentation techniques such as decision treesHold experience working with banking sector clients with exposure to risk management analyticsBe proficient in Python and SQL programming languagesPossess practical experience using Spark and statistical modeling techniques is beneficialDemonstrate technical knowledge of algorithm complexity, probability, and statisticsExhibit self-motivation and aptitude for independent research and problem-solvingDisplay ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments
