Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and motivated fresh engineering graduate with an MBA to join our team, focusing on Factory and Business Excellence. This role will involve optimizing business processes, driving efficiency improvements, and delivering customer-centric solutions. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, interacting with individuals at all levels, and has a keen interest in developing strategies to enhance productivity while minimizing costs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Optimization:
  • Analyze, streamline, and optimize business processes across the factory and business units to enhance productivity and control profits.
  • Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks and propose solutions for improvement.
  • Efficiency and Cost Management:
  • Drive initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing costs, while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
  • Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking:
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor factory performance, costs, and business metrics.
  • Customer Experience Management:
  • Work closely with customer-facing teams to ensure that customer feedback and expectations are incorporated into business and operational improvements.
  • Ensure that factory improvements align with enhancing the customer experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, procurement, finance, and HR to develop and implement improvement projects.
  • Lead and contribute to team efforts, taking ownership of outcomes and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Project Management:
  • Take ownership of business excellence projects from concept to implementation, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Track and manage the progress of factory improvement projects, ensuring they meet set goals and timelines.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Analyze operational metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify areas of improvement, and implement necessary changes.
  • Prepare insightful and actionable reports for management based on data analysis and observations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) and MBA.
  • Passion for Excellence:
  • A strong interest in optimizing factory processes and driving business excellence.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems, think critically, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Interpersonal and Leadership Skills:
  • Enjoys interacting with people across various levels of the organization, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of guiding teams through change and improvement initiatives.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset:
  • Keen interest in handling customer experience and ensuring that business decisions are aligned with enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Analytical and Metrics-Driven:
  • Strong aptitude for working with numbers, analyzing metrics, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Project Management:
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Experience or interest in working collaboratively with teams from different departments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies for operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in using reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in or exposure to factory operations or business improvement initiatives is a plus.
