As a Network Engineerin the Global Architecture team, you’re at the core of one of the largest services in our global organization. Essential duties and responsibilities:
As the Network Engineer , you will identify, recommend, and implement innovative solutions and best practices to continuously improve, expand, and protect our Core Infrastructure solutions, supporting multiple large services and all our associates, worldwide.
Your experience in the IT Infrastructure industry will allow you to support migrations, integrations, and improvement projects, related to our Core Infrastructure Services to support the growth of our businesses through, for example, mergers and acquisitions , Infrastructure modernization and maturity etc.
In this role you have the opportunity to:
This role is responsible Based on our understanding from customer we need a Jr. resource to perform following activities. (Shared Support is not an options here, we need dedicated resource)
Customer is expecting to provide resource in next few days, Please help with internal options who can start within week time.
1-2 Years of Experience
24x7 support.
Support day-to-day network activities, including:
Real-time Monitoring operations of all backbone links, WAN/LAN network devices, and security devices.
Dedicated Network Surveillance using monitoring tools to ensure network performance goals are met.
Maintain consistent IOS release on network devices
Manage carrier (ISP) tickets.
Ensuring continuous operation of servers and services.
Support for Converged Networks Troubleshooting of all network and system-related problems.
Update the VLAN of network devices as and when required.
Respond to incoming tickets, troubleshoot, and escalate, if necessary.
Work with Cisco TAC as and when required.
Analyze and resolve network hardware and software connectivity issues.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all network equipment, circuits, IP addresses.
Escalating issues to the next level as per defined procedures.
Adherence and compliance to the defined processes and tasks assigned
Should have good experience in Cisco Routers and Switches.
