We are seeking a responsible and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee road-construction projects on behalf of our company. The Site Supervisor will ensure that construction is carried out safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality and design specifications. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage all on-site work — including skilled and semi-skilled workers, subcontractors, machinery and equipment.  Monitor daily/weekly progress of construction work, ensuring adherence to design specifications, project requirements, quality standards, and timelines.  Coordinate and schedule deliveries of materials, plant, and equipment as required for road construction tasks.  Ensure proper allocation of manpower and resources for efficient project execution.  Enforce all safety, health, and environmental regulations on-site; conduct regular safety inspections; organise safety briefings/toolbox talks; maintain safety documentation.  Inspect quality of work performed, detect defects or deviations, and ensure corrective measures where needed.  Maintain accurate records: daily work logs, labour attendance, materials used, equipment usage, and site reports. Report project status, progress, issues or delays to Project Manager or company management; help in planning and scheduling work programs.  Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and other stakeholders as needed to coordinate work, materials, compliance, and schedule.  Required Qualifications / Skills Prior experience (ideally several years) in road construction projects or general construction supervision.  Good understanding of construction methods, road-construction processes, site safety, quality control, and ability to interpret project drawings or specifications.  Strong leadership and team-management skills; ability to supervise workers and subcontractors, assign tasks, guide workforce, and maintain discipline and productivity.  Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills — to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, manage materials and schedules, address site issues or unexpected delays.  Awareness of health & safety regulations, ability to enforce safety protocols, conduct site inspections and briefings, and ensure compliance.  Preferred / Additional Requirements Formal qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or relevant field (or equivalent experience).  Ability to read & interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.  Basic familiarity with site-reporting, documentation and record-keeping (daily logs, material inventories, progress tracking).  Job Type & Expectations Full-time, on-site role. Supervisory responsibility over labourers and subcontractors working on road construction sites. Regular reporting to Project Manager / Senior Management. Enforcing site safety and quality standards, maintaining documentation and daily progress reports. Coordination of logistics — materials, equipment, labour, scheduling — for smooth execution of projects.
