Job Title: E-commerce Experience DeveloperAbout the Role:Create engaging e-commerce experiences by developing and customizing themes and templates.Build, extend, and optimize BigCommerce apps and integrations using APIs to streamline processes.Implement custom functionalities including checkout customizations, product page enhancements, and dynamic pricing rules.Ongoing optimization of website performance, security, and responsiveness is key.Troubleshoot and resolve BigCommerce platform-related issues efficiently.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience through seamless integration of third-party tools such as payment gateways, shipping APIs, and CRM solutions.Maintain clean, well-documented, and scalable code adhering to best practices.Stay updated with the latest BigCommerce trends, technologies, and methodologies.Required Skills & Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in BigCommerce development.Strong knowledge of BigCommerce Stencil framework and Liquid templating for efficient template management.Familiarity with BigCommerce API (REST & GraphQL) integrations is a must.Experience in Headless Commerce and PWA implementations will be considered an asset.Understanding of e-commerce SEO and performance optimization techniques is crucial.Proficiency in version control systems like Git ensures collaboration efficiency.Ability to work in agile development environments with minimal supervision.Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with strong communication and teamwork skills are vital.Familiarity with custom app development using Node.js/PHP is highly valued.
