Accountant Role OverviewThe Institute of Professional Certifications is a global leader in accredited training and education. We deliver certification programs across various industries, including compliance, finance, engineering, healthcare, and sustainability.Job DescriptionThis role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance processes. You will be responsible for accurate financial records, monitoring expenditures, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and generating financial insights for senior leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesManage AP, AR, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-tracking activities.Maintain financial documentation and accounting records.Handle invoice processing, payment schedules, and vendor reconciliations.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.Assist with payroll review, tax filings, and statutory reporting where applicable.Partner with teams to validate financial data, track expenses, and support operational decision-making.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial efficiency.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CA) are highly preferred.Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a multinational environment.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Excel.Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking.Strong communication and ability to work cross-functionally.High integrity and commitment to accuracy and compliance.Why Join Our Organization?Be part of a global organization shaping the future of professional education.Remote-friendly environment with flexible collaboration.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.Dynamic, supportive, and high-performance culture.
