Job DescriptionUS HUD Auditors provide detail-oriented and experienced audit professionals with 2+ years of hands-on experience in US GAAP HUD Audits, Multifamily Housing Audits, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Audits, Affordable Housing Audits, or Low-Income Housing Audits. They have a strong understanding of HUD compliance requirements and experience working with clients in the affordable housing sector.Audit professionals will conduct audits in accordance with US GAAP and HUD guidelines for multifamily housing entities, reviewing and assessing financial statements, compliance reports, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with HUD regulations. They will also perform audits related to Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and other affordable housing programs, collaborate with clients to resolve audit findings, and provide recommendations for improvements.Auditors will prepare audit reports and present findings to stakeholders, staying updated on changes in HUD regulations and industry best practices.
